This Periodic Inspection and Testing course is ideal for experienced and practising electricians who have previously gained qualifications in Initial Verification, perhaps through a recognised apprenticeship, and wish to expand their skills to include reporting on the condition of existing electrical installations.
It is taught by industry experts in state-of-the-art facilities.
How you'll learn and be assessed
Alongside teaching, some self-study is expected in preparation for examinations.
You could progress onto Level 4 2396 Design; Verification, HNC/HND Building Services or a career as a Qualified Supervisor or Site Technician.
You must be up to date with industry requirements, IET Wiring Regulations and be over 18 years old. This course is aimed at experienced and practising electricians.
Candidates should not attempt this qualification without holding a Level 3 technical certificate in an electrotechnical discipline.
Applicants should have current copies of BS7671, IET On Site Guide and IET Guidance Note 3 prior to commencing the qualification.
