This Combined Initial Verification and Periodic Inspection and Testing course is aimed at experienced electricians who have never gained formal qualifications in inspection and testing or who may wish to update and reaffirm their skills. It is taught by industry experts in state-of-the-art facilities.
How you'll learn and be assessed
Alongside teaching, some self-study is expected in preparation for examinations.
Progression
You could progress onto Level 4 2396 Design: Verification, HNC/HND Building Services, or a career as a Qualified Supervisor or Site Technician.
Entry requirements
You must be up to date with industry requirements, IET Wiring Regulations and be over 18 years old. This course is aimed at experienced and practising electricians.
Candidates should not attempt this qualification without holding a Level 3 technical certificate in an electrotechnical discipline.

Applicants should have current copies of BS7671, IET On Site Guide and IET Guidance Note 3 prior to commencing the qualification.
