We’re excited to launch our Safer Internet Day campaign, with the day itself taking place on Tuesday 10 February 2026.
Smart tech, safe choices – Exploring the safe and responsible use of AI
Safer Internet Day 2026 is all about helping you feel confident, informed and safe when using technology — especially artificial intelligence (AI).
AI tools are everywhere: from chatbots and study aids to social media filters and image generators. Used well, they can support learning and creativity. Used badly, they can spread misinformation, create deepfakes and cause real harm.
That’s why this year we’re focusing on smart tech, safe choices — and how we can all use AI responsibly.
Safer Internet Day 2026 closely aligns with our ongoing Safe students, Safe staff, Safe spaces campaign, reinforcing our commitment to creating a safe and supportive digital environment for all.
