This course is designed to provide an understanding of the beauty industry and theory of the human anatomy at Level 2.

- Waxing
- Manicure
- Pedicure
- Make-up
- Eye treatments
- Create an image
- Reception duties
All 16-19 year olds on full-time programmes will be required to retake GCSE English and Maths or to undertake Functional Skills, if they have not already attained the equivalent of a GCSE grade C in these subjects, every year of their course, until they complete their studies.
You should have an interest in the beauty industry and be committed to learning the skills you need for your career.

Progression
Beauty Therapy City and Guilds Level 3 Diploma or work in salons, department store, hotels or health spas.
Entry requirements
You need to have 4 GCSEs at grade 3 or above including maths and GCSE English language at grade 4

You should allow for the following additional costs: uniform, equipment, essential book list (to be advised), files and resources at a cost of approximately £285. An education visit cost is included in the additional cost.
