Our friendly and supportive tutors will work with you to find out which areas you would like to improve and put together an individual plan. There will also be a chance to study for a nationally recognised qualification.
We run courses in the daytime and evening. If you do not have a minimum grade of 4 (C) in English at GCSE, then you may be able to this course for free, if you have already obtained a grade 4 (C) or higher the fees are £811.
How you'll learn and be assessed
You will gain a national qualification at the appropriate level. Improving your English skills can give you the confidence to help you reach your individual goals, whether it be helping your children with their homework, moving into employment or gaining further qualifications.
You can:
- improve your spelling, punctuation and grammar
- improve your reading and writing skills
- improve your English skills for everyday life and work
Entry requirements
If you have not already achieved a grade 3 in English, you will be required to sit an assessment to check your suitability for the course. This assessment will be completed on campus at your Meet the Teacher event. You will be sent details of how to book onto your event as part of the application process. It is essential that you attend an event to complete your assessment and gain entry to the course.
