  • Using portable power tools
  • Setting up and operating cutting and shaping machinery
  • Carrying out first fixing operations
  • Carrying out maintenance to non-structural carpentry work
  • Carry out second fix operations

25% theory in the classrooms and 75% practical activities in the workshops.

The awarding body for this course is City & Guilds. 

Bench Joinery or Site Carpentry Level 3 Diploma.

Level 1 Carpentry Diploma must have been completed and achieved. GCSE maths and English at grade 3 (grade D) or above, or equivalent.
