MindGreen

MindGreen is Activate Learning’s wellbeing and inclusion initiative, dedicated to supporting student and staff mental health while creating opportunities for wider participation, connection, and community impact.

MindGreen began as a simple idea

People can support mental health by doing good together.

  • It grew through shared leadership, not ownership by one single team.
  • Students and staff helped shape prioritiesactivity and culture from the start.
  • What began as small acts of kindness became a wider movement for change.

Impact on Communities

MindGreen extends its impact beyond campus through fundraising, volunteering, and partnerships that build connection and social value. Alongside £40,000 raised for mental health initiatives, it has generated an additional £9,000 through donations and community projects. By working with local authorities and charities, MindGreen supports food banks, outreach services and awareness campaigns, strengthening community engagement and the region’s social fabric.

Mission and Focus:

MindGreen's primary mission is to foster a culture of mental wellness within Activate Learning.

The Wellbeing and Inclusion Fund is dedicated to providing essential support, resources, and a safe space for students and staff to navigate the challenges that may impact their mental health throughout their educational journey.
