The programme consists of 4 on-line theory and 2 practical assessments related to the qualification units.
The course is aimed at those employed in the electrical industry or those who intend to enter the industry. The course is also suitable for applicants who are considering a career change.

You will be expected to spend a couple of hours a week on research and private study.
Progression
Work in the industry and progress to Level 3 to obtain the full Technical Certificate (further study in the workplace required to complete the NVQ for fully qualified status)
Entry requirements
No formal entry requirements, but GCSEs (or equivalent) in English, Maths and Science would be advantageous.
Additional information
You will need to purchase/provide IEE On-Site Guide, steel capped footwear, study equipment such as pens, paper and scientific calculator.
