This qualification is suitable for those who want to work as an electrician, installing systems and equipment in buildings, structures, and the environment within the electrotechnical industry.
This Level 3 NVQ qualification is for those working in electrical installation for under 5 years, who have completed Level 2 and Level 3 Electrical Diplomas and want to enhance their employability and career prospects.

Progression
On completion of this course, you could progress to a Level 4 qualification.
Entry requirements
GCSEs grade 4 (or equivalent) in English and maths
You need to have completed Level 2 and 3 Electrical Diplomas.
You must be working in the industry sector throughout the duration of the NVQ.
Additional information
You will need to purchase/provide IEE Wiring regulations and On-Site Guide. You will also require steel-capped footwear and study equipment such as pens, paper, and a scientific calculator.
Please note: AM2 and preparation for AM2 is not included.
